“Relaxing holiday with such varied places to visit...  and your lovely cottage with the honeysuckle and rose scented terrace to enjoy at the end of the day”  Mr and Mrs B., Colchester (June 2010)

“The cottage location is a child’s paradise – opening the front door to be greeted by the opening to the forest, the large garden (with excellently equipped games etc) and of course the campfire that brought the whole family together at the end of each sight seeing day.  Puts urban life into perspective!” S. Family, Cambridge (July 2010)

“Well, this place is more beautiful than we imagined!! We have so enjoyed our stay playing soccer, badminton, eating marshmallows over the fire..  Your cottage is wonderfully restored, what a great job you have done.  We are sad to be leaving!”  McC. family, New Zealand (July 2010)

“Such a well equipped cottage & beautiful too... have used the bikes, been for walks... saw the hare, deer in the garden...”

“We have had a fabulous two weeks - La C is a paradise for young kids... see if you can see a wild boar like we did at the road edge close by” R-A family, Sussex (August 2011)

“Had a great stay here at La C - everything we imagined from far away Australia - & more!  Thanks, Stephanie and Jack, for providing everything we needed & being so helpful”  Mr and Mrs S., Australia (Sept 2011)

“We absolutely loved staying at La Carriere. It was by far the most well equipped gite we have ever stayed in and had lots for the kids to do. My tip would be to take less than you think you need - this place really has everything and is like a home from home. We loved riding the bikes through the forest and playing table tennis as well as visiting local chateaux and towns. In two weeks we still didn't fit everything in that we wanted to do but we could have easily spent the entire time at the gite - there is so much space for the children to roam free and it feels very secluded and private.”  M. Family,  Bradford (Aug 2012)

“Fantastic cottage in a beautiful location and so well equipped!  It is a beautiful house, both inside and outside, and the garden, which leads directly onto the forest, is huge. It is in a lovely area of the Loire valley and the cottage has lots of ideas and leaflets left by previous occupants as to where to visit, as well as a welcome book with the owners favourite places.”   B   B. family, Leicester (Aug 2012)

“Well situated quiet retreat. Lovely woods in which the house is situated, a pleasure having breakfast on the patio in the morning and of course bbq's in the evening.”  P. family, Sandbach (Aug 2012)
